What is reality?
A series that invites reflection
The first three
Paths, feelings, and plans… We think we are the ones who choose them. But what if they also choose us? And if plans come true, perhaps it is not merely coincidence, but a mutual reunion.
The next three
We can see the world only from our own position. But we can also broaden our gaze and see reality differently: to understand that events and coincidences are sometimes the result of decisions, actions, and thoughts.
The final three
Paths, feelings, and plans… We think we are the ones who choose them. But what if they also choose us? And if plans come true, perhaps it is not merely coincidence, but a mutual reunion.
“5 Within the Field of the Gaze“
What happens when a human being observes reality — and can reality observe in return?
The Observer and the Observed series explores this ancient philosophical question through the language of light, space, and minimalist form. The nine works unfold as a visual journey through different states of perception. In the first compositions, space appears fluid and undefined. Light, colour, and structure form a field within which the figure of the observer begins to emerge.

Gradually, space acquires structure. Lines, networks, and architectures of light appear, and reality begins to be perceived as a complex system of relationships in which observation becomes an active process. The turning point arrives with the appearance of the gaze. Reality no longer seems to be a passive environment, and a sense arises that it is beginning to respond.
In the later works, light takes the form of vertical currents between which flashes appear, recalling the birth of life. These forms emerge in the space between light and darkness, evoking the ancient idea that life can arise between opposites.
The series then introduces the symbol of infinity. Currents of light form a continuous movement within which human silhouettes appear as reflections of consciousness moving inside a single field. The final work simplifies the image to its essential elements. After the complex spaces, almost an empty field remains: a structure of lines and a point of light. In this way, the series returns to its initial question: where does observation originate?
The series forms a 3 × 3 composition — nine works resembling a symbolic mandala of the path of perception: from observing space to recognising the origin. The series offers no definitive answer. It leaves open a space for reflection on the boundary between the human being and the world, between light and form, and between the observer and the observed.
Some of the works continue in augmented reality, transforming the observation of a static image into a multilayered perceptual experience.
This is the first version and it can be seen on Singulart for a very limited time.
The second version is being prepared for IMDart with several layers and an exhibition filled with emotions and thoughts.

The Observer and the Observed Series
This series was not born as a previously planned project, but as an inner path that revealed itself little by little. Each work appeared without precise knowledge of what the next would be. The artist moved intuitively, step by step, allowing the images to emerge from observation, reflection, and personal experience.

The series can therefore be perceived as a single journey of consciousness.
At the centre of this journey lies a philosophical theme that is simple and ancient at once: the relationship between the observer and reality. Many traditions of the world ask the same question: when a human being observes the world, does the world remain merely an object of observation, or does reciprocity arise between the one who observes and what is observed? The works in this series explore precisely that moment.
The journey through the series
In the first works, space does not yet have a stable form. It appears as a flow, an energy field, or a structure in which the observer’s figure is only beginning to manifest. The human being is small and almost dissolves into the vast field of reality. Gradually, space becomes more structured: lines, networks, and spectra of light appear. Reality begins to be perceived not as chaos, but as a complex system of interconnections.
Then a decisive moment occurs: the gaze appears. Reality seems to begin looking back. This instant becomes the key point of the entire series: observation ceases to be a one-way process. A space for dialogue appears between the human being and the world.
In the following works, light transforms into vertical structures resembling columns or currents. Between them, flashes of life emerge — forms that seem to be born in the interval between light and darkness. One of the series’ central ideas appears here: life may exist not in form or light separately, but in the space created between them.
Infinity
The culminating moment arrives with the work based on the symbol of infinity.
Inside the luminous figure eight appear forms reminiscent of human silhouettes. They move within a single flow, as though multiple consciousnesses were participating in one cycle of existence. Seen from a certain distance, the infinity shape unexpectedly becomes a pair of eyes. This reinforces the series’ central idea: the world and the human being exist in a constant state of mutual observation.
Two figures — masculine and feminine — can be distinguished inside the structure. They may be interpreted as two poles of one consciousness, as a dialogue, or as reflections of one another.
Origin
The final work in the series is extremely minimalist. Three rays converge at a single point of light. In the lower part appears a figure that no longer merely observes: it moves as though entering that luminous centre. After the complex spaces of the previous works, the series concludes almost in emptiness and a point of light. This creates a sense of returning to the origin.
How the series was born
Although the series may visually appear to be a conceptual project, its origin is much more personal. It arose from inner experience and artistic research. Many images appeared spontaneously while working with light and movement.
At times, figures, faces, or symbols emerged unexpectedly — as a natural result of the interaction between light, form, and human perception. These moments reinforce the feeling that the work develops not only through the artist’s will, but also through a dialogue with the creative process itself.
What this series is about
This series offers no definitive answers. It leaves open a question people have asked for thousands of years: where is the origin of life and consciousness — in the human being, in the world, or in the space between them?
The works offer the viewer not so much an explanation as a state of reflection.
A distinctive feature of the project
Some works in the series continue to exist in augmented reality. This expands the space of the pieces beyond the static image and turns them into a multidimensional experience of observation. In this way, the series connects traditional visual art with new technologies and creates a space in which the image can continue unfolding over time.

9. Origin
The final work in the series is deliberately minimalist.

Three dark rays cross the white space and converge at a single point of light. After the complex spaces of the previous works, the image is stripped almost completely of form, leaving only the essential elements of the structure.
These three lines can be interpreted as an ancient symbol of orientation and the structure of the world. At the same time, they evoke:
- three directions
- three forces
- three dimensions
- three beginnings
The point where they converge becomes the centre of the composition. Between the intersections of the lines appears a golden spark — the origin of light.
In a symbolic reading, the elements of the work are arranged almost like a philosophical formula:
- the white field — space
- the dark rays — structure
- the golden point — life
- the human figure — consciousness
After passing through complex spaces and the movement of infinity, the series returns to an extremely simple configuration: space, structure, life, and observation.
The figure in the lower part of the composition no longer remains still. Its movement resembles rotation or dance — a state in which observation becomes participation.
This work concludes the Observer and the Observed series, where the path of observation gradually leads to the point at which light, structure, and consciousness meet.
